Reinado Cigars Robusto Review

Reinado Cigars Robusto - 5.5 X 50. Wrapper - Nicaragua, Binder - Nicaragua, Filler - Nicaragua. Medium bodied.

Initial taste - Toasty, bready cedar.

First third - Spicy cinnamon, bready/woody leather. Near the end of the first third a slight sweetness emerges.

Second third - Spicy woody leather, & sweet cinnamon continues with some notes of nuts.

Final third - Now there is a sweet, creamy and woody leather flavor (bordering on a creamy, coffee flavor), continued spiciness and hints of cinnamon. Very nice balance. Long finish of spice, leather and wood.

Burn on this cigar was razor sharp producing a light gray ash that held on for an inch at a time. Draw was perfect producing a good amount of smoke. Construction was good although the wrapper was delicate.

This was a very nicely balanced cigar with a lot of complexity. I really enjoyed this cigar and I would definitely have it in my regular rotation. MSRP is $8.00 for this size. Definite recommend. For more information take a look at their web site: www.reindocigars.com.
