Canimao Robusto Extra Maduro Review

Canimao Robusto Extra Maduro - 6 X 52. Wrapper - Brazilian Arapiraca (aged 3 years), Binder - Ecuadorian Sumatra, Filler - Nicaragua & Dominican. Medium - Full bodied.

Initial taste - Dry woody and coffee.

First third - Woody, earthy coffee flavor, spice and hints of cinnamon and a pleasant sweetness.

Second third - Now the cigar takes on a more predominate earthy sweetness, coffee flavor with nuts, spice and cinnamon. Very nicely balanced.

Last third - Earthy sweetness and dark coffee flavor with spice increasing and hints of cocoa and nuts. Strength is really increasing. Smooth and complex. Very long finish of sweet dark coffee and spice.

Construction, burn and draw were perfect as is the case with all of the Canimao cigars that I have smoked. Nice light gray ash that held on.

This is yet another Canimao cigar line that I really enjoyed. Complex and smooth with very good flavors. The cigar definitely increases in strength during the last third which I really like as well. MSRP on this vitola is $4.58 which is a great value for a cigar of this caliber. Fantastic cigar. Highly recommended.
