BMC Premium Collection "The Beest" - 5 X 54. Wrapper - Nicaraguan Habano, Binder - Nicaragua, Filler - Nicaragua (Triple Ligero). Full bodied.

Initial taste - Hot pepper & cedar.

First third - Peppery spice, cedar & Earthiness.

Second third - Pepper, a sweetness emerges, Earth and now the cedar flavor begins to fade into the background. An underlying ligero taste is also present throughout the cigar.

Last third - Pepper continues along with the sweet molasses-like flavor and rich Earthiness. Cedar flavor is now gone. Very long finish of Earth with underlying ligero.

Construction - A dark chocolate colored wrapper with moderate sized veins and a slight oil texture. A very well made pigtail cap.

Burn - Sharp burn line producing a solid salt & pepper colored ash that holds on for over an inch until tapped off.

Draw - Draw is perfect and produces a generous amount of smoke.

This is a fantastic powerhouse of a smoke with very good complexity and nice balance for such a strong smoke. Definitely a cigar that has to be smoke on a full stomach most likely later in the day/evening. MSRP is $8.00 for this vitola. When in the mood for a strong smoke, I would definitely recommend this cigar.

Berger & Argenti Fatso "Dipper" Review

Berger & Argenti Fatso "Dipper" - 4 X 62. Wrapper - Nicaraguan Madurl, Binder - Ecuadorian Sumatra, Filler - Nicaragua. Medium - full bodied.

First third - Starts off with pepper, Earth and a oak wood.

Second third - Pepper spice continues followed by a sweet Earthiness and oak wood. Nice smooth flavors.

Last third - Pepper, sweet Earthiness and oak wood. Wonderfully long finish of pepper and rich Earthiness.

Construction - A beautiful dark brown wrapper with no major veins and a nice silky sheen texture. Very nice looking and wall made cap.

Burn - Straight burn with a dark gray colored ash that is solid and holds on until tapped off.
Draw - The draw was perfect providing plenty of smoke.

A very tasty smoke with a unique and interesting shape with plenty of smooth complex flavors. I really enjoyed the pepper spiciness along offset by the sweet Earthiness. MSRP for this vitola is $5.49 per stick and $88.00 for a Spanish cedar box of 16 cigars which is a very good price point. I have to give this cigar a high recommendation.
