Initial taste - Dry cedar & spice.

Leccia Tobacco White Robusto Review

Leccia Tobacco White Robusto - 5 X 52. Wrapper - African Sun Grown, Binder - Habano Ecuador, Filler - Nicaragua Ligero, Dominican Republic, Pennsylvania. Medium - full bodied.

Initial taste - Toasted cedar.

First third - Cedar, some spice, coffee and mineral notes.

Second third - Coffee now takes over as the main flavor followed by spice and Earthy mineral notes.

Last third - Coffee and spice continues with the Earthy mineral notes. Long finish of coffee and spice.

Construction - This cigar had an attractive brown wrapper without any major veins and a nice silky sheen texture. Not soft spots and the cap was decent.

Burn - Sharp burn with a solid white colored ash that holds on for a while until tapped off.

Draw - The draw was on the tight side and produced little smoke.

A good cigar with nice complexity and balance. There were a couple of issues such as the draw which was tight and made me have to work at smoking it. The wrapper is fragile and began splitting about a third of the way into it. Lastly, the flavor profile while good, is not my favorite type of profile. MSRP for this size is $7.75 which I feel is a good price point for this cigar. I would recommend this cigar based on the profile.
