Flor De Gonzalez 90 Miles 1980 Robusto - 5 X 52. Wrapper - San Andreas Mexican, Binder - Ecuadorian Broadleaf, Filler - Nicaragua and Dominican Republic. Medium - full bodied.

Initial lighting taste - Dense woodiness and spice.

First third - Strong spice followed by a rich Earthiness, wood and orange peel.

Second third - Spice continues along with a tangy citrus, Earth and orange peel. A slight sweetness begins to emerge here as well.

Last third - Spice ,citrus, rich sweet Earthiness and orange peel. Very long tasty finish of spicy citrus and Earthiness.

Construction - A beautiful dark-brown wrapper with a nice and smooth oily texture. No major veins and a nice cap.
Burn - Sharp burn line with a solid white colored ash that holds on an inch or so at a time.
Draw - Perfect draw with plenty of smoke.

A fantastic cigar with a great flavor profile, complexity and balance. I really enjoyed the way this cigar evolved introducing new flavors as I smoked through it. The rich sweet Earthiness along with the orange peel was particularly nice. MSRP for this vitola is $6.50 which is a great price for a cigar that delivers so much complexity and flavor - a definite recommend to try.
